Cogu speaks about CS:Source Team Problems

According to the announcement made by CGS, the World Championship will be held in Los Angeles from December 6th to 14th. How is the CS:Source team preparation for the event?

Cogu: Well, unfortunately we are facing some problems with our line-up. At the time of the draft we tought that we could go with a complete (Jorginho) and replace him with a more experienced player like Kiko. We were warned that just players that participated in the draft could replace another one. Then we suggested Lance that belongs to our defined Taxi Team (g3x). Today we gave up of the presence of Cky in our line-up since he still get no Visa and we cannot wait anymore for that.

And who will be in the team with his absence?

Cogu: We will propose to play with Lance. In this case we believe we will have a positive answer.

Don’t you think Jorginho can go without the required motivation to the championship?

Cogu: This could be a possibility, since he was aware of his condition when he was invited to complete our team during the draft. But his reaction was very positive and he believes he can show everybody that he is valuable for Rio Sinistro and it turned to a bigger motivation.

How does the team plans to practice for the World Championships?

Cogu: We are asking to CGS admins to allow us to go as soon as possible to Los Angeles and we will try to practice against the best American CS:Source team, Complexity. The good thing for us is that they will not participate and it can be very valuable to practice against them.
