Today, at 4pm (EST), the Rio Sinistro will have two representatives in the 2008 CGS Individual World Final. Both Patan and the Counter-Strike Source will be competing with the best in the world for the title, as well has $5,000 a person.

For second time, Luis "LAVU" Uribe will not travel with Rio Sinistro to LA. Last week we announced the players that were going to represent our franchise in 2008, and Luis was a part of the Forza team with Leopoldo "UFO 79ERN" Vargas. Lavu says that exams at his college were going to take place on the same dates as the matches.

Our FIFA 2008 player, Francisco "Patan" Sotullo, was awarded a golden medal in the FIFA 2008 WCG Pan-American 2008 event in Monterrey, Mexico.

2008 Roster

The last three spots in the Rio Sinistro Roster have been filled: Luis "LAVU" Uribe and Leopoldo "UFO 79ERN" Vargas are a part of our Forza team, and Francisco "Patan" Sotullo will be out FIFA 08 player.

This will be the second season that LAVU will play for Rio Sinistro. Last year he proved to be one of the best PGR3 Racers in Latin America at the Mexico City Combine. Just before the World Final Lavu was hospitalized and substituded by Francisco "mEtAlx" Gomez Alegria. Who now is a part of the Mexico City Furia together with Luis "LEGITRACER" Ibarra who also played for Rio Sinistro last year.
